Privacy Policy for Ordizi Agent

Effective date: September 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Ordizi Agent Android application (“Ordizi Agent”, “the App”) handles information when used as part of the Ordizi sales force automation system.

Ordizi Agent is designed for business users such as sales representatives and other authorized employees. The App connects to an Ordizi Service server configured by the user and operated or controlled by the user’s organization (the “Operator Company”).

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the “Developer” means the publisher and maintainer of Ordizi Agent.

1. No Developer-Operated Data Backend

Ordizi Agent operates as an on-premise/self-hosted software client. Business data is exchanged directly between the App and the Ordizi Service server specified in the Application settings.

The Developer does not:

  • operate a centralized server that receives or stores the Operator Company’s operational data;
  • automatically receive or access personal or sensitive user data processed through Ordizi Agent;
  • sell, monetize, or automatically disclose such data to third parties.

The Operator Company determines which server is used, which users are authorized to access it, what business data is available through the system, and how such data is stored, retained, exported, or otherwise processed.

The Developer does not normally have administrative access to the Operator Company’s Ordizi Service installation, database, ERP system, or other corporate infrastructure.

The Developer may receive information when a user or an authorized representative of the Operator Company voluntarily provides it to the Developer, for example by contacting technical support or by explicitly sharing a diagnostic log file. Such information is processed only for the purpose for which it was provided.

2. Information Processed by the Application

Depending on the configuration of the Operator Company’s Ordizi system and the functions used, Ordizi Agent may process business information including:

  • user or sales representative information;
  • customer or retail outlet names, identifiers, addresses, contact information, and reference coordinates;
  • routes, visit assignments, visit results, comments, dates, and times;
  • products, product categories, prices, units of measure, and stock information;
  • orders, returns, payments, debts, and other business documents;
  • location information associated with business visits;
  • technical information required for synchronization, diagnostics, and compatibility.

The exact categories of information depend on the configuration and data supplied by the Operator Company’s Ordizi Service, accounting system, or ERP system.

3. Account and Connection Information

Ordizi Agent does not provide public user registration. User accounts are created and managed by the administrator of the Operator Company’s Ordizi Service.

The App may store connection information required to access the configured server, including:

  • Ordizi Service server address;
  • user login;
  • user password or other authentication credentials.

This information is used by the App to authenticate and communicate with the Operator Company’s server. The Developer does not operate a centralized Ordizi account database containing these credentials.

4. Android Permissions and Device Features

Ordizi Agent requests only permissions required for its operational functions.

  • Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used for business visit and location-verification functions described in Section 5. Ordizi Agent does not request background location permission and does not continuously track the user’s location in the background.
  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): On supported Android versions, the App may request permission to display application or synchronization-related notifications.
  • Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Used only on Android 9 and earlier where required for compatibility with local application files such as diagnostic logs. Newer Android versions use application-specific storage provided by Android.
  • Internet Access: Network access is required to synchronize information with the Ordizi Service server configured by the user.
  • Inter-app Interactions: Ordizi Agent may use standard Android intents to open another application, such as a telephone dialer or an installed map application. Ordizi Agent does not read the user’s personal contacts or call history for this purpose.

The current version of Ordizi Agent does not request access to the device camera or background location.

5. Location Data

Location information is used only for business functions associated with customer visits and related operational workflows.

Depending on the Operator Company’s configuration and the action being performed, the App may obtain the device’s precise or approximate location and associate it with information such as:

  • a customer or retail outlet;
  • a business visit;
  • the date and time of the visit;
  • the result or status of a location check.

The resulting information may be stored locally on the device and synchronized directly with the Operator Company’s Ordizi Service server.

Ordizi Agent does not use location information for advertising, marketing profiling, or cross-application tracking.

6. Diagnostic Logging

Ordizi Agent includes an optional diagnostic logging function intended for troubleshooting.

If diagnostic logging is enabled, the App may create a local log file containing technical information about application activity, synchronization, errors, operations being performed, and other diagnostic events. Depending on the activity being diagnosed, a log may also contain business identifiers, server-related information, or location-related diagnostic information.

Diagnostic log files are stored locally on the user’s device and are not automatically transmitted to the Developer.

The Settings screen allows the user to:

  • enable or disable diagnostic logging;
  • share the diagnostic log file using the Android system sharing interface;
  • delete the diagnostic log file.

If the user chooses to share a diagnostic log, the file is provided to the application, service, or recipient selected by the user. If the user deliberately sends such a file to the Developer for technical support, the Developer may access the information contained in that file solely for troubleshooting and support purposes.

7. Data Synchronization and Transmission

Business information handled by Ordizi Agent is synchronized directly with the Ordizi Service server configured in the Application.

In the production version of Ordizi Agent, communication with Ordizi Service is permitted only over secure HTTPS/TLS. Unencrypted HTTP connections are not permitted in production builds.

The Operator Company is responsible for configuring and maintaining its server infrastructure, network security, TLS certificates, access controls, backups, and related security measures.

The Developer does not determine the physical hosting location or infrastructure provider used by independently operated Ordizi Service installations.

8. External Applications

Ordizi Agent may allow the user to open information in external applications installed on the device.

For example, the App may pass a phone number to the Android dialer or location information to a mapping application selected by the user. Once information is transferred to another application at the user’s request, further processing is governed by the privacy practices of that application’s provider.

9. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking

Ordizi Agent is a business application. The current version:

  • does not display third-party advertising;
  • does not use personal or business data for behavioral advertising;
  • does not use advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking;
  • does not include third-party behavioral analytics services for profiling users across applications or services.

10. Data Sharing

The Developer does not sell personal data.

Information processed by Ordizi Agent may leave the device only as required by functions initiated or configured by the user or the Operator Company, including:

  • synchronization with the configured Operator Company’s Ordizi Service server;
  • opening information in an external application selected by the user;
  • sharing a diagnostic log or other supported file when explicitly initiated by the user.

The Developer does not automatically receive customer operational data merely because Ordizi Agent is installed, configured, or used.

11. Data Storage and Retention

Ordizi Agent may store business information locally on the device as necessary to support normal operation, including offline work and synchronization.

Local application data may remain on the device until it is replaced during synchronization, removed through application functionality, cleared through Android settings, or removed when application data is deleted.

Diagnostic log files can be deleted from the Settings screen.

Information synchronized to an Operator Company’s Ordizi Service is retained according to that organization’s policies, configuration, legal requirements, and business needs. The Developer does not control retention periods on independently operated Ordizi Service installations.

12. Corporate Accounts and Data Requests

Ordizi Agent does not allow users to create public accounts within the App. Accounts are provisioned and administered by the Operator Company.

Requests to create, modify, disable, or delete a corporate account should therefore be directed to the Operator Company’s administrator or IT support desk.

Requests concerning business or personal information stored in the Operator Company’s Ordizi Service should also normally be addressed to that organization because it controls the relevant server and database.

13. Data Security

Ordizi Agent uses Android application storage mechanisms and, in production builds, permits communication with Ordizi Service only over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.

Security of an Ordizi deployment also depends on the Operator Company. The organization operating Ordizi Service is responsible for appropriate server configuration, authentication, network security, TLS certificates, backups, access control, and protection of connected accounting or ERP systems.

No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.

14. Children’s Privacy

Ordizi Agent is intended for authorized professional and corporate users and is not directed to children.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when Ordizi Agent functionality, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change.

The current version will be published on the official Ordizi website. The effective date shown at the beginning of this document identifies the current revision.

16. Contact

Questions concerning this Privacy Policy or Ordizi Agent may be submitted through the official Ordizi contact form:

For requests concerning corporate accounts, customer records, visit information, orders, location records, or other information stored by an Operator Company, please contact that organization directly.
