PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how the Ordizi mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”), with package ID com.ordizi.agent, handles user data.

1. Zero Data Collection by the Developer

CRITICAL NOTICE: The Developer of the Application (the individual or entity that published the Application on Google Play) DOES NOT collect, store, access, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

The Application operates strictly as an on-premise/self-hosted software client that connects directly to the server infrastructure owned and managed by your employer or corporate contractor (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator Company”). All data entered into the Application is transmitted directly to the server URL specified by the user in the Application settings.

2. Android Permissions and Usage

The Application requests only the minimal set of permissions strictly necessary to perform its B2B operational functions:

  • Location Data (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Location coordinates are accessed strictly on-demand when the user manually taps the “Get Coordinates” button at a retail location to confirm a business visit. The Application does not track location continuously or in the background.
  • Data Synchronization Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC): Used to ensure reliable transmission of collected orders and reports to the Operator Company’s server. This service runs transparently and displays a persistent system notification while active.
  • Storage Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Requested only on devices running Android 9 and below. It is used exclusively to write local debug log files, if explicitly enabled by the user for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Inter-app Interactions (Android Intents): The Application triggers standard system intents to open the native dialer or third-party map applications (e.g., Google Maps) for route planning. The Application does not read your personal contacts or call logs.
  • Camera and Photos (Anticipated Feature): Depending on the specific modification of the Application and the requirements of the Operator Company, the Application may request access to the device’s Camera. This access is used strictly for generating photo reports (e.g., documenting product layouts, shelf displays, or retail outlet conditions). All photos taken are transmitted directly to the Operator Company’s server during synchronization and are never accessed or stored by the Developer.

3. Corporate Accounts and Deletion Policy

The Application does not feature public user registration. All user accounts (logins and passwords) are provisioned directly by the system administrator of the Operator Company on their private server.

  • Because the Developer does not host or have access to this user database, any requests regarding account modifications or account deletion must be directed to your Operator Company’s IT support desk.

4. Data Security in Transit

The Application communicates with the Operator Company’s server via a secure HTTPS protocol using SSL encryption. The Developer is not responsible for the security setup or maintenance of the server infrastructure managed by the Operator Company.
